General Method:
- Not as easy to control as other Malaria concentrate on reducing the fever
- Similar to treatment of Typhoid Fever
When temperature is high:
- Vigorous Antipyretics especially Cooling Pack,
During remission:
- Fomentations over liver
- Cold Towel Rub every 2-3 hours to build resistance
- small Antiperiodic quinine dose if hydrotherapy is slow
Problems:
- Lesions of Liver and Spleen - Abdominal Heating Compress
- Production Fever - higher temperatures than Typhoid
