Treatment:
Patient must be protected from chilling at all times
- Fresh air, no drafts, warmly dressed in bedroom
- Room should be kept warm
- Treatments 2-4 times a day
First treatment:-
- Hot Foot Bath with Fomentations to back and chest until profuse sweating, then Cold Mitten Friction
Subsequent Treatments:-
- Hot Foot Bath Avoid sweating and chilling
- Hot Tub Bath followed Cold Mitten Friction
- Hot Blanket Pack
- Wet Sheet Pack
- Drink lots of water

- Find out what is making your immune system weak and stop it.
- Follow the Immune System Maintenance
- Avoid taking antibiotics, they do not provide any benefits.

In young adults: Short, high fever, rapid pulse, high BP, respiratory problems
Elderly: asthenia, digestive and nervous system problems
Problems:
- Active Chest Congestion
- Visceral Congestion in early stages
General: Do not try to reduce fever
- Very early with strong patients: Cold Mitten Friction
Usual regime:
1st treatment - in afternoon or evening
- Enema - thorough Diaphoretics usually recumbent with Cooling Compress to head and neck to prevent fainting
- Several glasses of hot lemon during treatment eg.
- recumbent Electric Light Bath
- Sweating Pack
When sweating profusely:
- Graduated Shower begin at 43°C up to tolerance then gradually to 32°C then put to bed with
- Hot Water Bottle to feet to perspire gently for several hours
- Do not repeat treatment if good sweat achieved
Next morning and from then on:
- Graduated Tonic Cold after:
- Leg Pack and Fomentations to spine, quick, to relieve joint aches then immediately...
- Cold Mitten Friction or Cold Towel Rub or
- Alternate Douche to spine and legs finish with feet
Contra-indications:

Problems:
Bronchitis and Cough with chest pain:
