TREATMENT

Acute Conjunctivitis

• Charcoal Poultice overnight - dispose carefully
• Charcoal Slurry Eye Drops 4 drops every 2 hours
• Alternate Compress every 4 hours, hot 2min, cold 30sec
• Cotton Balls soaked in boric acid solution, on closed eyelids.
• Therapeutic Diet
• Small ice-cold Compress for 30 min change every 3min, repeat after one hour. Apply some heat occasionally
• Heat to cheeks to draw blood away from eyes.
• Hot Foot Bath

In chronic cases:-

• Alternate Compress, Hot 3min, Cold 30sec, 4x
• Saline Irrigation
• Charcoal Poultice at night
