Painful and irregular periods
Treatment:
Before the period begins, ie to prevent:-
- Loose warm clothing on the extremities especially the feet if there is any danger of chilling.
- Therapeutic Diet
- Vigorous Exercise programme
Beginning 5 days and continuing is due until 12 hours before period is due:-
- Hot Hip and Leg Pack with very thick Fomentation over lower abdomen, 20min
- followed by a Cold Mitten Friction.
- Repeat 3x then a Neutral Tub Bath to finish.
- Hot Enema or hot Vaginal Douche
- Hot Tub Bath
- Fast the day before the period and only bread and fruit on the day of onset of the period.
After Period begins, for acute discomfort:-
- Fomentations
- Revulsive Sitz - hot Vaginal Douche
