Hot:
- 1-2 litres at 40-46°C. Finish with 500ml at 21°C
- Cleansing
Very Hot:
- 1-2 litres at 43-52°C
- Analgesic and to stop bleeding
Alternate:
- Two cans and Y-tube: 2 litres at 43-49°C, 1 litre at 21°C
- give hot for 15-30sec then cold 5-10sec. Alternate for 5-10min,
- finish with cold.
- Tonic and Stimulating in:
- Use only low pressure
- Do not use extremes of temperature
- The opening of the tube must be lateral, not at the end
- 1-2 litres of water at 37-40°C for cleansing
