General Method:
- Treat the inflammation
- If suppuration occurs surgery is needed
In convalescence
- Alternate Compress 30 min, 3x a day with Heating Compress in the interval changing every 2 hours or when warmed
- Graduated Tonic Cold
- Alternate Vaginal Irrigation 43, 27-21°C
- Pelvic Massage later
Etiological Problems:
- Avoid puerperal infections
- Avoid exposure during menstruation
- Protect feet and legs in damp or cold weather
- Wear clothing that prevents chilling
Pathological Problems:
Clinical Problems:
- Peritoneal Pain treat as Pleuritic pain but apply to pelvis
- Constipation treat as Enteric Infection
- Chills
- Septic Fever
- Anaemia
Contra-indications:
- Cold Immersions, use partial cold treatments
