A bath in any natural body of water. 3-30 min

  • not within an hour before or after meals
  • avoid if patient is exhausted or nervously weak
  • A slight chill occurs on entering until reaction sets in.
  • Avoid the second chill by gentle rubbing and exercise
  • After cold Shower or spray, 5°C below that of the sea for 3-4 seconds.
  • Dry thoroughly and rub vigorously.
  • Exercise moderately 15-20 min
