SYN: Sunstroke, heat Hyperpyrexia, or Thermic Fever

This is the final stage of Heat Exhaustion, there is no sweating and the fever is usually over 41°C as heat is not lost. Characterised by heat retention, very high body temperature, high blood pressure and delirium.

- general Revulsives for Superficial Anaemias
- Pallor (ie peripheral anaemia) short cold Cephalic Douche
- Skin congestion - careful prolonged cold Cephalic Douche or preferably ice to head and neck
- cold Local Pail Pour with:
- Wet Hand Rub
- Evaporating Compress

Once a patient has had Heatstroke they must live in a cold climate. No hot applications at all are to be used. Even mild applications cause general vaso-dilation and Cerebral Congestion.
