Treatment:
- Therapeutic Fever body temperature to 40.5°C, 2½ hours, 3x weekly, 1 month
- Sun Bath
- Walking after meals
To Stop Bleeding...
- hot Enemas 46-50°C
For Inflammation...
- Charcoal Poultice and drinking charcoal Slurry water
- Cold Compress over abdomen 5 min
For Pain...
- Light Fomentations to abdomen with Hot Foot Bath
- Warm Enema 41°C

To thoroughly remove the mucous cast covering the mucous membrane (always painful as mucous membrane is left raw and unprotected) i.e, exosmosis by
- first... clean bowel with low and high Enema then
- hypertonic saline Enema i.e, double amount of salt for normal saline or ½teaspoon of Epson salts per litre introduced by high bowel catheter or
- ordinary Enema in knee-chest position. use 500ml-1lt at a time, retained as long as possible (not long usually 20-30min)
- treat pain with abdominal Fomentations then
- treat weakness with Cold Mitten Friction
Repeat 3x/week until no mucous brought away, usually 3-6 weeks then cease all Enemas and begin general Tonics.. see below...
General tonic later in treatment after enemas cease...
- in morning Hot Foot Bath with abdominal Fomentations or
- Scotch Compress or followed by Cold Mitten Friction
- in afternoon Spinal Alternate Applications followed by:
- Cold Towel Rub or
- general Massage avoiding the abdomen this leads to a rapid weight and strength gain.
- treat underlying Neurasthenia by rest and proper diet
