To lower the body temperature as much as possible without shivering:-
- Hot Foot Bath with Ice Pack to neck - front and back, head and
- Cold Compress to face and scalp
- Prolonged Tepid Bath
For Intracranial Bleeding:-
- Hot Foot Bath as above with Fomentations to abdomen and thighs, and
- warm Fomentations to Chest and Spine
- Massage
- Heating Compress to Abdomen
- Hot Local Bath for the arm
- Patient kept quiet in darkened room with no visitors
