General Method:
- Eliminate toxins by improving skin activity
- Drench with water by Water Drinking and Enema

- Cold Mitten Friction - avoid chilling with Fomentations to the spine or Leg Pack
- Absolute Bed rest

Acute infectious disease with inflammation of synovium, periarticular tissues and other serous membranes ie. endocardium, pericardium, pleura, and sometimes the meninges. More severe infections have myocarditis.
Fever ordinarily 39-40°C but can be quite high

- Diaphoretics in acute stage
- Therapeutic Fever decreases cardiac damage
To reduce and control inflammation and pain of joint:

- Precordial Compress with chest Fomentations every 3-4 hours
To encourage elimination of toxins:
